RECORDING STUDIO IN TUSCANY

Where the Work Gets Deeper

A refined recording environment for artists who want focus, character, and a record that holds its shape.

-Built around artists, not throughput

The Studio

Sonic Alchemy is a recording studio for artists who care deeply about how a record feels, not just how it measures.

This is a space designed for focused work. A room with character, a workflow built for momentum, and an approach that values performance, tone, and discernment at every stage.

The goal is not simply to capture sound well. It is to create the conditions for stronger choices, deeper performances, and records with substance.

-How we can help

Recording and Mixing Approach

The studio is built around an 18-input setup with preamps from Neve, SSL, and API, giving us a range of colour, weight, and clarity at the source. That flexibility matters. Different records ask for different things, and the recording chain should support the music rather than force it into one aesthetic.

We track with an analog-first sensibility, then move into a hybrid mixing process using Nuendo or Pro Tools, depending on what serves the project best. Outboard gear on the mix bus adds depth, cohesion, and presence where it counts. The point is not gear for its own sake. It is having the right tools, the right options, and the judgment to use them well.

-Atmosphere affects decisions

A Room That Supports the Work

Great sessions are shaped as much by atmosphere as by equipment. The room influences energy, focus, communication, and the quality of decisions being made hour by hour.

At Sonic Alchemy, the environment is part of the craft. The studio is calm, characterful, and intentionally removed from the noise that tends to flatten creative work. It gives artists the space to listen more closely, stay with an idea longer, and move through a project with more presence and less friction. That changes the work. And more often than not, it leads to a better record.

-Some projects need something specific

Additional Gear & Instruments

If a project calls for something specific, we can source additional microphones, instruments, or specialised equipment through trusted rental partners.

That means the studio can remain focused and streamlined while still adapting to the particular needs of the record.

If your project requires something specific, we’re happy to discuss the best way to source it.

-Capturing the process

Session Video

Session video is available as an optional add-on for artists who want to document the process, capture live performance footage, or create behind-the-scenes material during a project.

It can be a thoughtful way to preserve the atmosphere of the session and create strong visual material without distracting from the music itself.
