ONLINE PIANO LESSONS
Private Piano Study for Young Musicians
A fuller musical education, beyond what school alone can provide.
For preteens and teens who are curious about music and ready to develop real understanding, creativity, and confidence.
Private online piano study with an experienced composer and musician.
-What This Is
Music Should Be Part of a Complete Education
For many young people, music has become a small part of school life, if it is present at all.
Private study creates room for something deeper. Focused listening, creative thinking, practical musicianship, and the confidence that comes from understanding how music actually works.
The goal is not simply to reproduce pieces correctly.
It is to help a young musician learn how to hear, think, create, and make musical decisions for themselves.

Who These Lessons Are For
-
This study is designed for young musicians roughly 11–17 years old.
It can work well for:
- a beginner who has already shown genuine interest in music
- a student who has taken lessons before but needs stronger direction
- an early intermediate player ready to go beyond basic instruction
- a teenager interested in songwriting, composition, production or theory
- a young musician who wants to understand music rather than simply follow exercises
No conservatory ambitions are required.
Curiosity, engagement and a willingness to learn matter more than starting level.
-Consistency over intensity
A Different Kind of Private Lesson
Young musicians often learn best when they are treated seriously.
Lessons are individual and shaped around the student rather than a standard children's curriculum.
Some students need stronger technique.
Others need to understand harmony, develop their ear, explore songwriting, or connect what they are learning at the piano with the music they already love.
The direction develops with the student.
-Meet Dorian
About the Teacher
Private study is taught by Dorian Britton, composer, musician and recording professional at Sonic Alchemy in Italy.
Rather than learning only from a teaching method, students work with someone who uses music professionally in composition, recording, production and performance.
That professional perspective helps connect technique and theory to the way music actually works in practice.
-Start without pressure
Start with a Free
    Trial Lesson
The first lesson is simply a chance to meet, play, and understand where the student is now.
During the session we will:
- talk about their musical interests
- assess their current level
- identify strengths and areas to develop
- discuss what they would like to learn
- establish a sensible direction for study
There is no obligation to continue.
-Clear monthly structure
What Happens After the Trial?
Weekly Private Study
30 min weekly → €160 / month
60 min weekly → €310 / month
Monthly billing. Ongoing study.
If the study feels like a good fit, ongoing lessons are held weekly.
There is no need to decide before the trial lesson.
-Consistency over intensity
Why Weekly Study?
Musical progress is built through consistency.
Weekly lessons provide enough continuity to develop technique, listening, understanding and creative work without turning music into another high-pressure academic subject.
The aim is steady, meaningful development over time.
